ibis Styles Lille Centre Grand Place

The ibis Styles Lille Centre Grand Place hotel is a great accommodation option if you’re looking for a centrally-located hotel in Lille.

Compared with regular ibis hotels, there is less consistency between one ibis Styles hotel and another but this also means that ibis Styles hotels are a little more interesting with more unique design choices. Here, the design focuses on a contemporary decor with a big photo of clothes (some rooms will have a photo of shirts and others will have a photo of jeans or ties) on the wall behind the bed.

The 42 hotel rooms all have comfortable ‘Sweet Beds’, a flatscreen TV and an en suite bathroom with a nice walk-in shower. Ranging from 11m² to 14m², rooms are relatively small but they incorporate some smart storage areas to make the most from the compact space.

There are plenty of power outlets including USB ports, and a handy recessed shelf to put your phone while it’s charging, next to the bed.

The hotel doesn’t have a lot of common areas outside your room, other than a bar near the hotel reception and a nice breakfast area.

This hotel has a great location midway between Gare Lille Flandres and the Grand’Place. From here, it is only a two-minute walk to Place du Théâtre, a three-minute walk to the Grand’Place and a four-minute walk to Gare Lille Flandres and within 10 minutes you can walk to most points of interest in the city centre and Vieux Lille including the cathedral, Musée des Canonniers, Musée de l’Hospice Comtesse and the Westfield Euralille shopping centre.
