ibis Lille Centre Grand Place

The ibis Lille Centre Grand Place hotel is a great value hotel in a central location.

All rooms have a comfortable ‘Sweet Bed’, a flatscreen television, a work desk and an en suite bathroom. Rooms are clean and well maintained, just like you’d expect from an ibis and some rooms have a view of the belfry at the Chamber of Commerce. However, the central location means that some guests complain of noise coming from the street below.

The hotel does not have a lot of common areas, although there is a small seating area near the hotel reception as well as a room where you can have breakfast in the morning. Note that breakfast is usually not included in your room rate.

Free Wi-Fi wireless internet access is available throughout the hotel.

The hotel has an excellent location wedged between the Grand’Place and Vieux Lille. From here you can walk to Place du Théâtre and the Grand’Place in just two minutes and many points of interest in the city centre and Vieux Lille, including la Vieille Bourse, the cathedral and the Musée de l’Hospice Comtesse are within a five-minute walk.

The closest metro station is Rihour (line 1), which is a five minute walk from the hotel and Lille Flandres metro station (lines 1 and 2) and tram stop (lines R and T) is eight minutes away. It is an eight-minute walk to Gare Lille Flandres and Gare Lille Europe is a 15-minute walk from here.

Car parking is available but it comes at an additional cost.
